Thanks for popping by! Here’s a little bit about me and how A Little Bit Naughty came to be — where beautiful cakes meet a little bit of fun. 🍰
I use carefully selected, quality ingredients, sourced locally wherever possible, and bake with the freshest eggs — many laid by my own happy hens and very pampered ducks. (Yes, the eggs in the photo were all laid by my girls.)
If you’d like to experience my flavours for yourself, I release beautifully curated taster boxes several times throughout the year. Upcoming dates can be found in the Events section of my website, or you’re very welcome to get in touch and I’ll let you know when the next boxes are available.
I know it sounds a little cheeky, but there’s a very special reason behind the name A Little Bit Naughty.
When I was young, I have the fondest memories of my lovely Dad coming home at the weekend with a big brown paper bag filled with chocolate treats. He had the sweetest tooth and would always say, “It’s OK to be a little bit naughty sometimes,” as he tipped the goodies onto the kitchen counter.
I sadly lost him in 2005, and when I launched my business in 2013, I couldn’t think of a more perfect way to honour his memory than by creating beautiful, delicious cakes he would have absolutely loved.
So now, whenever you order from me, you can be a little bit naughty too. 💛
My love of baking began more than 20 years ago when I worked for a big publishing company in London, and used to organise bake sales to raise money for local good causes. Creating beautiful cakes became such a passion that after leaving my IT job behind in 2019, I decided to turn my hobby business into a full-time career and built a professional bakery at home.
At the beginning of 2023 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and although it was a tough year, my love of baking helped to keep me going through my chemo. Thankfully, I had the all clear in January of 2024 and I am now back to full health, loving life and of course even more cake making!
